At least two minor earthquakes rattled Southern California Saturday, including an aftershock to a deadly temblor last fall that caused millions of dollars in damage.
No damage or injuries were reported from either quake Saturday.
Officials at the Caltech Seismology Laboratory in Pasadena said the af-tershock to the Oct. 1 quake struck at 11:40 a.m. and was centered 4 miles south-southwest of Pasadena, in the Whittier Narrows area.
The temblor, measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale, "was another of the hundreds of aftershocks to the Whittier Narrows quake," said Robert Finn, spokesman for Caltech.
Several hours earlier, an unrelated earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale struck at 8:53 a.m. some 12 miles southeast of San Diego, Finn said.
On Friday, a 3.1 earthquake rattled the Palm Springs area about 15 miles from where another temblor struck less than 24 hours before.
