One man and two divisions from the Hill Air Force Base Directorate of Contracting and Manufacturing received awards recently in Air Force Logistics Command competition.
The AFLC outstanding central contracting civilian award went to Douglas Friedli, Hooper, Weber County, a contracting officer in the directorate.Through his handling of complex Minuteman washout and remanufacturing program negotiations, more than $5 million in savings resulted, according to the AFLC.
The AFLC outstanding base contracting award went to the directorate's Base Contracting Division, which led the command during fiscal 1987 in accomplishing assigned mission requirements.
The AFLC outstanding contract administration unit award went to the Manufacturing and Contract Management Division, which the AFLC said reduced delinquent contract deliveries in 1987 by more than 15 percent and led the command in on-time deliveries.
