Three Salt Lake County residents were being held in the Davis County Jail on drug and firearms charges after their arrest early Friday morning, according to the Davis County sheriff's department.
Lt. Colin Hart said Deputies Lane Gleave and John Maxwell, patrolling in a paramedic truck, arrested the three at 12:13 a.m. on U.S. 89 near a South Weber convenience store after investigating a suspicious vehicle.The deputies searched the vehicle after seeing a firearm in it, Hart said, turning up several stolen guns and a quantity of cocaine and heroin.
Deborah R. Drane, 32, West Valley City, is being held in the jail on $13,000 bond for investigation of possession of stolen property; carrying a concealed dangerous weapon; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance, cocaine; and possession of a controlled substance, heroin, according to jail records.
Kim N. Rafel, 28, and Frank A. Brown, 25, both of Salt Lake, are being held in the jail on $4,000 bond for investigation of possession of a firearm by a restricted person; possession of a controlled substance, cocaine; possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen property, according to jail records.
Rafel and Brown are both convicted felons and are also being held on probation violation charges, according to Hart.
