Planned Parenthood Association of Utah has appointed Penny Davies as director of clinical services to oversee client services and programs at the eight Utah clinics.
Davies joined Planned Parenthood's staff as a clinical assistant at the Holladay clinic in 1981. In 1982, she was promoted to program assistant, then program director one year later. Since 1986, Davies has overseen the agency's vasectomy program and pharmacy services.A New York native, Davies earned a bachelor's degree in education from the State University of New York at Cortland, and a master's in education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Before joining the Planned Parenthood staff, she worked in elementary education in New York and as regional manager in Salt Lake City for a health spa chain.
