Israeli experts helped the Chinese improve the guidance system of medium-range missiles Beijing sold to Saudi Arabia - weapons Israel now says endanger its security, The Washington Post reported Monday. The Post cited "U.S. commercial sources and Saudi experts" and said the sources were divided on whether the Israeli experts knew whether the modified missiles were destined for Saudi Arabia, or for Iran or Iraq, two major purchasers of Chinese weapons. Tel Aviv has expressed concern over the existence of the missiles, which have a range of 1,600 miles, sufficient to reach any military site in Israel.
