Merrill Osmond will be the host and perform in a special family oriented program at the South Towne Mall as part of the city's Sandy Pride Day celebration June 11.
"Merrill Osmond Presents Utah's Finest Performers," featuring live music and dancing as well as a wide variety of entertainment, is scheduled for two performances, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.The free performances, the grand finale to the city's annual cleanup campaign, will be held in the ZCMI Court. Among the acts scheduled are an Elvis Presley impersonator, a singing car salesman, a 14-year-old pianist, the Corner Canyon Kickers and a county music singer.
Sponsors include Smith's Food King, ZCMI, Deseret Medical, the Sandy Exchange Club, Diet Centers and the South Towne Mall.
