Three new leases have been signed for a total of nearly 15,000 square feet of space in the Triad Center, according to Jack Woodward and Scott Wilmarth, leasing agents for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.
This brings to 70 percent the amount of space leased in the Triad Center, the mixed-use development at Third West between Frist South and South Temple. The Triad Center was taken back by the Traveler's Insurance Co. on foreclosure from Saudi Arabian arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi. Occupancy at Triad hasn't been as high as the developers first intended.
Prime Resources, a long-distance telephone system, has leased 7,000 square feet at 5 Triad Center Brower Financial, a financial services company, has taken 2,000 square feet in the same building, and Moore Business Forms, a wholesale business form company, will move into 5,800 squre feet in 4 Triad Center June 1.
Woodward said public confidence in Triad has improved in the last 12 months. The ownership by Travelers Inc. has been a stabilizing force and the property is being run in a very professional manner. This coupled with the fact we offer tenants the only business campus atmosphere in the downtown area, has contributed to a high level of interest in the property, Woodward said.
