The Charlotte Hornets' choice for their first head coach is Indiana Pacers assistant Dick Harter.
While negotiations between Harter and the Hornets have not started, sources close to the Hornets and the Pacers told The Charlotte Observer late Thursday that Harter will be offered the job.
