A Colorado woman will be arraigned in 3rd District Court on charges she was driving under the influence of alcohol in a head-on crash last month that killed a Bountiful woman.

Julianne Eager, 38, Denver, appeared this week in a preliminary hearing before 3rd Circuit Judge Maurice Jones, who ruled there was enough probable cause to support a third-degree felony charge of vehicle homicide.

According to a criminal complaint, Eager was driving the wrong way on the Beck Street I-15 overpass on April 18 when her car struck a vehicle driven by Maryann B. Page, 48, Bountiful, who was killed.

Laboratory tests showed Eager's blood-alcohol level was greater than the legal limit, the complaint says.
