Key Mortgage Services Inc., a subsidiary of KeyCorp., has opened regional offices in Utah and assumed mortgage banking operations formerly handled by Key Bank of Utah, a company spokesman said.
Richard Coleman has been named president and chief executive officer of Key Mortgage.Its primary business is that of originating and servicing Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration, conventional, construction and development loans in Utah and nearby states, a spokesman said.
Headquarters are in Salt Lake City with other offices in Midvale, Ogden, Provo, Tooele and Price. The new company's mortgage function was formerly handled by Key Bank of Utah.
Other officers of the new company are Larry Hardman, executive vice president; Richard Best, senior vice president; Harriet Wilkinson, senior vice president; and Robert Nye, vice president and controller.
Other people formerly associated with the mortgage function through Key Bank of Utah are now employees of Key Mortgage Services Inc.
