WEST VALLEY CITY Two men described as teenagers armed with revolvers robbed, then handcuffed the clerk at Holiday Oil, 2716 W. 47th South, Monday at about 4 a.m.
The 37-year-old clerk told police the robbers entered the store and approached the counter with a box of candy. One of the men gave the clerk a $5 bill, then he pulled a revolver from his pants after she opened the cash register.The second man also pulled a gun on the clerk after she refused a request to go into the store's back room. He then handcuffed the clerk and ordered her to sit on the floor while the two robbers fled.
Both men are described as being between 16 and 18 years old. One man was about 5 foot 4 and weighed 150 to 160 pounds. He had brown hair and was wearing a baseball cap, a green shirt and a beige jacket. The other robber is described as thin, about 6 feet tall with short dark hair. He was wearing a brown plaid shirt-jacket and dark pants.
