Two men charged in connection with the death of a Salt Lake man have been ordered to appear in 3rd District Court to answer to the charges.
Bruce Eugene Ulrich, 29, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday before 3rd Circuit Judge Floyd Gowans, who ordered him bound over to the district court.Danny F. Chavez, 30, waived his preliminary hearing earlier this week and was ordered by 3rd Circuit Judge Michael Hutchings to appear in the district court.
Ulrich, charged with second-degree murder, is accused of stabbing William L. Odell, 62, on April 5. Odell was found dead in his apartment at 335 E. Third South, the same apartment building that Ulrich and Chavez lived in.
Chavez is accused of helping Ulrich develop an alibi.
