Cave tours will begin Saturday at Timpanogos Cave National Monument.
Tickets can be purchased at the visitors center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at $3 for those 16 years and older; $2 for those 6-15 years; and under 6 years free. Those with Golden Age Passports, 62 years and older, are charged $1.50.Visitors should wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes for the strenuous 11/2-mile hike to the caves, and bring jackets for the tour through the damp, 43-degree caves.
Advance reservations are not taken. Visitors often wait 30 minutes to two hours on weekends and holidays.
