The Mountain West Friends of Hospitalized Children are seeking a full-time house manager for the Ronald McDonald House, set to open in Salt Lake City in September.
The house is a "home away from home" for families with critically ill children. The 16-bedroom house, located at 935 E. South Temple, provides sleeping quarters for families during the time their children receive medical care at local hospitals.
Robert Springmeyer, chairman of Mountain West Friends of Hospitalized Children, said the full-time manager must have organizational, communication and good listening skills, as well as as empathy for the families.
