The Park City Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau has appointed Mickey Smith as president for 1988-89.
Smith, president and owner of a tour operator service named Advance Reservations, has lived in Park City for 13 years."I'm excited about the opportunity to become more involved with the Chamber/Bureau," he said. In addition to Smith's appointment, five members were appointed for one-year terms on the organization's executive committee. Bill Coleman was chosen president-elect and vice president of member services; Joe Jafarian was elected vice president of meetings and conventions; Gordon Strachan, vice president of economic development; Robbie Beck, vice president of marketing; and Hugh Daniels, treasurer.
