The trial of a door-to-door salesman charged with raping a 19-year-old American Fork woman has been postponed until Aug. 29 because a doctor that was expected to be called to testify and an interpreter were unavailable Tuesday.
Last week, 4th District Judge Ray M. Harding scheduled a Tuesday trial for Carl M. McClellan, Chicago, but set a second date as well in case the Utah County attorney's office was not ready Tuesday.McClellan, 24, is charged with raping a woman July 5 while selling cleaning supplies door to door.
