Town Square Theatre of Provo announces the 1988 production of "Saturday's Warrior," the LDS musical, and its sequel, "Star Child."
"Saturday's Warrior" opens Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. and will run every Saturday, Monday and Friday thereafter. After the first six weeks, "Star Child" will begin alternating performances with "Saturday's Warrior."This marks the first time both plays will be performed in repertory on alternating evenings, and the first time either musical has been done in an intimate, in-the-round setting.
"Saturday's Warrior" is being directed by Thom Duncan, with assistance by J. Scott Bronson. Music direction is by Russ and Dianne Daly, and Issac Thomas is choreographer. Dan Beck is technical director with Margie Duncan as house manager.
"Star Child" will be directed by G. Dane Allred, and choreography by Debbie Allred.
Tickets are $6 for those purchasing at the door, but substantial savings can be made by reserving and paying for tickets in advance. Group rates are also available. Reservations are encourage as seating is limited, and can be made by calling Town Square Theatre 377-2327.
