Dr. James K. Lyon, counselor in the presidency of the Carlsbad California Stake, is provost of the Fifth college of the University of California, San Diego. The Fifth College is a new concept in education where students can be introduced to many cultures in a small college atmosphere. Dr. Lyon, who was born in Holland when his father was presiding over a mission there, brings a cross-cultural blend to the post. The story is on page 5.
