South Korean riot police stand their ground Friday against a barrage of firebombs and rocks during a protest against the Olympics by about 500 students at Korea University in Seoul. Troopers fired tear gas to drive the protesters back. No one was arrested or injured. It appeared to be the first time riot police had used tear gas since the Olympics began.
