Some of Utah's children who are visually impaired got to "see" some of "The Greatest Show on Earth" Friday through a special behind-the-scenes "touch tour" program sponsored by KSL radio, KSL TV, The Telephone Pioneers and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
On-air personalities of KSL radio and TV narrated a special "play-by-play" during the touch tour Friday afternoon while visually impaired kids were led through a kaleidoscopic circus fantasy land by clowns, dancers and other circus performers.The kids also got to touch exotic animals such as elephants, zebras and llamas along the way.
**KALL (AM-910) - Afternoon personality Danny Kramer recently added a few regular features to his show:
- On Mondays at 3:30 p.m., Dr. Jo Ann Larsen, who also writes the weekly "Family Corner" column in Sunday's Deseret News, talks about her speciality: family matters.
- Parenting expert Polly Johnson will discuss children 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
- On Wednesdays at 3:30, Betsy Burton, King's English Bookstore, is Kramer's regular guest with book reviews on the latest best-sellers.
**KSL (AM-1160) - The Sportscentral program with Chris Tunis will feature special guest former U.S. Olympian Paul Cummings 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The station will broadcast the Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees game Saturday at 5:15 p.m.
**KEMX (AM-1320) will air the Miami vs. Indianapolis NFL game Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
