A delightful relationship between the children of Thursday Island, located northeast tip of Australia, and Sister Minnie Jenks is attracting attention throughout the island.

Sister Jenks gave a Primary lesson about a deaf child who taught his classmates to say, "I love you" in sign language."The greeting caught on like wildfire," said Sister Jenks. "The children sign and yell, 'I love you,' whenever we see eachother."

Parents have picked up the practice from their children, and now it is a common greeting around the island.
