Fredd Young, the four-time Pro Bowl pick Seattle traded to Indianapolis, is expected to work out immedately with the Colts, a team spokesman says.
"And chances are pretty good" Young will be in uniform for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, Colts spokesman Craig Kelley said. The Seahawks traded the holdout linebacker Thursday night for the Colts' top choice in each of the next two college drafts.
"We're pretty ecstatic about it. We're excited," Colts General Manager Jim Irsay said. "We're getting, we think, a proven player who can come in and help us immediately."
The trade means the Colts will go three years without a first-round draft selection because they packaged their 1988 first-round pick - along with two second rounders and running back Owen Gill - to obtain Eric Dickerson last year.
