A Salt Lake County deputy sheriff is credited with saving the life of a 4-year-old boy who was submerged in his bathtub.
Deputy Dan Haggin was called to a home on the 35th South block of 27th East after a young boy suffered an epileptic seizure while bathing late Friday night, said Cpl. James Luff. The boy, whose name was not released, had been bathing with his younger brother when his parents left the bathroom for a moment, Luff said. The child had a seizure and was submerged when his parents returned.
Haggin revived the child, who remained in critical condition Saturday at Primary Children's Medical Center.
