Center Jeff Wenaas, who was so instrumental in defending against the other teams' top scorers during last season's Turner Cup championship drive, is being returned to the Eagles today by the Calgary Flames. Wenaas has spent this season with Team Canada but had a broken wrist most of this season. He played 21 games and had two goals and two assists with Team Canada.

Wenaas, 6-0 and 200 pounds, missed the title game last season with injury but successfully centered the checking line through the rest of the playoffs. In 80 regular-season games last season, he scored 23 goals and 39 assists.
