One Utah skater qualified for next month's nationals in Salt Lake and another is close after Thursday's competition in the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships. Clay Sniteman of Farmington qualified with a first place in novice men's, while Bountiful's Holly Cook is in second place in senior ladies. Heather Sniteman is seventh in junior ladies, while Shannon Smith of Layton is 14th in junior ladies going into Friday night.
