The First Presidency has announced the first six of the new mission presidents for 1989. Their specific mission assignments will be announced later. Along with their wives, the new presidents will begin their responsibilities about July 1.
Called as new mission presidents were:William Craig Zwick, 41, Monument Park 12th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake; bishop's counselor, former stake Young Men president, high councilor, elder's quorum president, and priest quorum adviser; served mission to Argentina, 1967-1969; owner and president of construction company; received bachelor's degree from University of Utah in 1971, did graduate work in business management; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of William E. and Audrey McDonough Zwick; married Janet Kay Johnson; four children. She is a Young Women president, former member of stake Primary presidency, stake Young Women president, Relief Society teacher, and Laurel adviser; born in Price, Utah, a daughter of S. Chris and Faye Hunter Johnson.
