He is likable, everybody's friend, dependable and is always cheerful. That's how the co-workers and supervisors describe Orem Community Hospital's 1988 employee of the year, Harry R. Brown, an electrician in the engineering department.
Brown has worked at OCH for just over one year but has earned the respect of his supervisors and co-workers. His duties in the engineering department include the repair and maintenance of a wide range of electrical devices used at the facility. Prior to coming to work at OCH he worked at Geneva Steel as an electrician for 17 years.Originally from Michigan, Brown has lived in Orem for 18 years. He enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting and sports such as softball and basketball. He and his wife, Delores, have two children.
