The University of Florida could lose more than $600,000 in forfeited tournament revenue following a disclosure by an NBA rookie that he accepted cash from agents while playing for the Gators, a newspaper reported today.

Meanwhile, the university is considering legal action to force Vernon Maxwell and his agent Greg Latimer to replace the revenue if the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Executive Committee forces a forfeiture, The Gainesville Sun reported citing unnamed sources.
