One Utah mother will have something to sing about in February.
If she is victorious in the annual "Vocal Competition for Mothers," she'll be $100 richer.That's what the state winner will receive in the contest, sponsored by the Utah Association of American Mothers Inc.
The contest will be at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15 in the ZCMI Mall Center. To be eligible, a woman must have at least one child and be under age 40. She must have studied at least one year with a reputable music school or an authorized music teacher and cannot have held contractual agreements exceeding $1,000 during the past 12 months.
