For the second week in a row, two contestants in the Deseret News Grid Picks Contest have tied for the top prize. Terry Williams of Spanish Fork and Wade Farraway of Salt Lake City each picked 12 games correctly and picked the identical score of the tiebreaker game.

For their efforts, Williams and Farraway will each receive $100.Deciding runners-up also proved trickier than usual, since 17 entrants had perfect scores of 12 right. The nine who came closest to the tiebreaker score were: Larry Mace, West Valley City; Jerry Morse, American Fork; Dave Smith, Salt Lake City; Jay Thueson, Salt Lake City; Gerhard Fleischer, Farmington; Milton Webber, Salt Lake City; Brooke Van Dam, Sandy; Michael Grooms, Salt Lake City; and Brandon Greenwood, Richfield.

The distribution of entrants and correct picks was: 12 - 17; 11 - 138; 10 - 318; 9 - 327; 8 - 224; 7 - 84; 6 - 32; 5 - 13; 4 - 4; 1 - 1.

One runner-up was inadvertantly excluded from last week's contest story. He was Ken Browning, Sandy.
