SHARE CLEARFIELD BOY HIT BY CAR IS REPORTED IN STABLE CONDITION

A 12-year-old Clearfield youth struck by a car Wednesday afternoon while riding his bicycle across Main Street was listed in stable condition Thursday at Primary Children's Medical Center with head injuries.

Clearfield Police said Kenneth Ferree, 12, of 93 N. Lakeview Dr., was crossing at about 270 N. Main St. when he was struck.The driver, Charyl Holdeman, 37, of 2411 N. 970 West, Clinton, did not see the boy crossing the street, according to police. Her vision was apparently blocked when another vehicle stopped for the youth, police said.

Ferree was taken to Humana Hospital Davis North and then airlifted to Primary Children's.

No citation was issued, according to the police investigator.
