The third annual "Deerly Impressive" homespun boutique is being sponsored by the American Diabetes Association, Utah affiliate, and Sue Harkness.
The premiere showing will be held on Monday, Oct. 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Heritage House Reception Center, 4699 Highland Drive in Holladay.The boutique will offer an opportunity to contribute toward the fight against diabetes while shopping. Harp music by Kate Cannon, hors d'oeuvres and handcrafted door prizes will be included in the $10 tax-deductible admission fee that will benefit the ADA. A percentage of all proceeds will be donated by Harkness, who donates time and financial assistance to the ADA. Harkness has a nephew who has diabetes.
