SHARE U.'S FALL FEST WILL OFFER MUSIC, ARTS, FOOD AND A GIANT BOOK SALE

In the mood to celebrate autumn's arrival with arts, crafts, music, entertainment and a gigantic book sale? The Fall Fest arts and crafts show at the University of Utah Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20 and 21, may have something for you.

The free two-day festival, sponsored by the U.'s Marriott Library and Fine Arts Museum, will be on the plaza between the two buildings, beginning at 11 a.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday.Arts, crafts and wares for Christmas gift-giving will be available at a number of artists' booths. Live entertainment will include jazz, bluegrass and rock music. Foods with an international flavor will be available. Traditional and folk dancers will perform. And the library will be having a monumental "book sale of the century," offering all kinds of books, paperback and hardback.

Saturday events will focus on children's programs. The museum will have a treasure hunt, art demonstrations, actors in historical costume visiting with guests and a children's art yard. The library will offer storytellers, childrens' book authors and displays.
