SHARE COURT DATES SET FOR 2 ON THEFT, DRUG CHARGES

Court dates have set for two southern Utah businessmen who are accused of separate offenses relating to theft and drug charges.

LaMar McBride, Aurora, Sevier County, was charged with theft of $8,200 while he managed McDonald's outlet in Richfield. He is scheduled to appear Oct. 24 for preliminary hearing in the 6th Circuit Court in Richfield.Alfred Olthof, Panguitch Lake, will be arraigned Nov. 2 in 6th District Court in Panguitch. He faces two third-degree felony drug counts and a misdemeanor charge.

Olthof faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed after officers searched the Deer Trail Lodge at Panguitch Lake. Olthof is a co-owner of the lodge.
