Hundreds of students yelling "Yankee go home" battled riot police with firebombs and rocks Tuesday in at least two cities to protest President Bush's meeting with President Roh Tae-woo in Washington.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old student suspected of being a police spy was tortured and bludgeoned to death and six militant students were being held in connection with his murder, Seoul police said.A police spokesman, requesting anonymity in keeping with official practice, said six students reported the killing and turned themselves in Sunday after confessing to a Roman Catholic priest.
