SHARE 2 STUDENTS WIN SAFETY CONTEST

Kevin Cly, San Juan School District, and David Bradshaw of Carbon District are the winners of the 1989 Utah School Bus Safety Contest. They will receive certificates from the Utah State Office of Education and their posters will be submitted to a national Safety Week competition.

Kevin, a first-grade student at Mexican Hat Elementary School, won in the division for kindergarten through third grade. His teacher is Rose Yellowman. David, winner in grades four through six, is in the fifth grade at Wellington Elementary School. His teacher is Marilyn Arnold.Also recognized were Larinda Wenzel and Marlo Bell, both third-grade students of Glenda Kelsey, East Elementary School, Roosevelt. Larinda was first runner-up in the lower division and Marlow received honorable mention. Aubry Holler, Durant School, Price, was second runner-up. Her teacher is Louise Marchino. In the upper division, Holly Van Tassel, a fifth-grader in South Summit Elementary School, Kamas, was a runner-up. Her teacher is Lisa Stembridge.
