SHARE FLETCHER, 2 OTHERS SPEAK AT Y. FRIDAY

The former director of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the vice president of a Salt Lake computer company and the chairman of chemical engineering at Brigham Young University will speak Friday, Oct. 20, at BYU.

Sponsoring its first Homecoming Alumni Weekend, the College of Engineering and Technology will host James C. Fletcher, former director of NASA, speaking on "The Future Direction of Space" at 2 p.m.; Jack L. Halvorsen, vice president of Evans & Sutherland, speaking on "Imaging Technology: Real or Simulated" at 3 p.m.; and Douglas N. Bennion, chairman of chemical engineering, speaking on "The Heat Over Fusion" at 4 p.m.The speeches, all in 214 Crabtree Technology Building, will follow an alumni luncheon at noon in 394 Wilkinson Center, where Dean L. Douglas Smoot will present a college address.
