A Brigham Young University advisory committee is seeking suggestions on how to solve the university's parking and access problems.

Suggestions should be submitted in writing to: Eugene B. Jacobs, 504 JRCB, BYU, Provo, UT 84602.Jacobs is chairman of BYU's 15-member Parking Solutions Committee, which includes representatives from Provo City and the Utah Transit Authority. The committee is gathering data for long-range planning to address campus traffic and parking problems that seem to be worsening year by year, Jacobs said.

The committee is in the brainstorming portion of its task and is anxious to gather information from a variety of sources, including people who attend concerts and athletic events or otherwise visit the campus regularly, Jacobs said.

"We don't care how off-the-wall a suggestion might be; we welcome all ideas," he said.
