SHARE CANCER SOCIETY JAIL-A-THON WILL TRY TO LOCK IN ON FUNDS

Crossroads Plaza will once again become a jail site for the American Cancer Society's annual Jail-A-Thon fund raiser Tuesday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 3.

The AMC's "10 Most Wanted" local VIPs will be at Crossroads Plaza's "Cell Block 1" on the Richards Street level of the mall, trying to raise funds for the cancer society by calling friends for "bail money."The 10 Most Wanted are Mike Korologos, director of public relations for Evans Advertising; John Mooney, sports editor, Salt Lake Tribune; Dick Nourse, KSL news anchor; Lois Collins, social issues writer, Deseret News; Chris Hill, athletic director, University of Utah; Doug Jardine, KUTV news anchor; Country Joe, KSOP radio personality; Kimberly Perkins, KTVX anchor; Frank Layden, president, Utah Jazz; and Meg Averett, realtor associate for Preferred Properties.

All "bail" and "arrest" fee contributions are tax-deductible and go toward the American Cancer Society's programs of research, education and service to cancer patients.
