A series of explosions in a home possibly containing an illegal fireworks factory rocked a normally quiet neighborhood Tuesday, killing at least two people and destroying or severely damaging a dozen houses and businesses.

Bim Orenmaa, fire chief in the small Lake Erie community in extreme northeast Ohio, said only one whole body was found, that of June Riddle, 61, in the basement of the home just around a corner from where the explosions occurred.Presumed dead was the owner of the house where the explosions occurred, Donald Rossi.

The cause was not immediately established, but the chief said evidence pointed toward illegal fireworks.
