A Taylorsville man was critically injured in an accident three miles north of the Yuba Reservoir interchange on I-15 at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lance Bushnell said Charles Case, 37, was injured when the car in which he was a passenger overturned, rolled 11/2 times. He was thrown from the vehicle.Case was taken by helicopter to the University Hospital in Salt Lake City where he was in critical but stable condition.

Lisa Duran, 34, Taylorsville, driver of the car, was taken by East Juab County Ambulance to Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi and transferred to the University Hospital, where she was in fair condition.

Case's nephew, Cortney White, 14, Taylorsville, was treated at Central Valley Medical Center and released. White remained in the vehicle.

Bushnell said White remained in the vehicle, but both adults were thrown out as it rolled.
