The Utah Valley Community College Theater Department is presenting a timely production of "Dracula" in the student center ballroom Thursday through Wednesday, Oct. 26-Nov. 1.
Dinner shows on the opening and closing nights are sold out, but tickets may be purchased at the door for regular performances at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27; Saturday, Oct. 28; Monday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31. Cost is $4 general admission and $3 for UVCC and other students.Bob Manning is directing the show, which stars Dan Brown in the title role. Brent Pickering and Kim Brewster, both theater faculty, play Professor Van Helsing and Dr. Steward. Others in the cast are Amy Newman, Doug Jolley, Jon Peterson, Tayva Patch and Sean Dunn.
"Dracula" is the first of four shows to be presented by the theater department this school year. An outdoor production in the amphitheater will be initiated during the summer, according to Brewster.
