Sherwin Davidson, an administrator at the University of Utah, has been appointed dean of Portland State University's Division of Continuing Education and Summer Session.
Davidson's appointment was announced by school officials.Davidson will direct the continuing education division, which provides workshops, classes and seminars to about 25,000 people, Portland State officials said.
He also will direct the summer session, they said.
