Six alumni and one student have been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the University of Utah Alumni Association. Four new ex-officio members will sit with them for the 1989-90 academic year.

Those serving three-year terms are C. Ross Anderson, president and chairman of the board of directors of AAA Engineering and Drafting, Inc.; Phillip W. Clinger, vice president and manager of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets; Ann W. Ellis, active civic volunteer; Mary Ann G. Garner, vice president of residential lending for United Savings Bank and its subsidiary, Western Mortgage Loan Corp.; John F. McNamara, administrator, Utah State Juvenile Court; Carolyn Smith McNeil, general manager of Intermountain Consumer Power Association and Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems. Bill Samson, president of the Student Alumni Association, was named to a one-year term on the board.New ex-officio members are Molonai Hola, president of ASUU; John Lund, ASUU vice president; Ted Kimball, senior class president; and Rob Sorensen, Student Alumni Association vice president.

The seven new board members replace Sally R. Burbidge, James E. Cannon, Mary P. Chachas, Dr. Kent W. Jones, Norma W. Matheson, F. Tally Stevens Sr., and Torr Brush.
