Four men were charged with second-degree murder Friday in connection with a Wednesday night killing of a brine shrimp worker.

The body of Miguel Ramirez, 38, was found Thursday morning about 10 miles north of the West Desert Pumping Project near the Great Salt Lake. The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office reports he was killed by a series of blows to the head and body with blunt objects. He was employed at Western Brine Shrimp.William Robert Cummins, 28, Philadelphia, Penn., and Billy Donald Cayer, 46, Salt Lake City, were charged with second-degree murder. Donald Wayne Brown, 33, Salt Lake City, was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault. Raymond Phillip Cabututan, Salt Lake City, 24, was charged with second-degree murder and five counts of aggravated assault.

First Circuit Court Judge Robert Daines set bail for the four men at $200,000.
