Frank W. Bohman, a rancher from Morgan, has been selected as one of ten national finalists in the 1989 Soil and Water Conservation Awards Program.

He is being honored this week at a ceremony in Milwaukee by the National Endowment for Soil and Water Conservation, a non-profit private organization, for developing innovative ways of controlling soil erosion, improving water quality and producing food within the land's natural capacity.From the 10 finalists, three national winners will be selected to receive a $1,000 cash award in December.

Sen. Jake Garn, R-Utah, announced the award and issued a statement congratulating Bohman.
