A male nurse accused of manipulating a patient with multiple personalities to have sex with her has lost his license.
The state Department of Commerce issued an order earlier this week revoking the license of Richard C. Heinecke, who is accused of creating a child personality within the woman and threatening to harm her if she ever told about their sexual encounters. The woman later became pregnant.Heinecke was a nurse at Pioneer Valley Hospital until July 2, 1988, and the Western Institute of Neuropsychiatry until Oct. 12, 1988.
He was accused of ignoring other patients while he cared for the woman. The complaint said Heinecke at times would spend his entire shift at the Pioneer Valley psychiatric unit in the woman's room, despite numerous reprimands from supervisors.
