Home health care currently is the fastest growing sector of the health-care industry, according to Charles A. Laverty.

Laverty, president of Curaflex Health Services, says,"Home health care has become a low-cost alternative to hospital care. It shortens the average hospital stay and reduces the daily cost of medical care by 30 to 70 percent."

He predicts the cost of home health care will reach an estimated $15.9 billion this year and that the Health Care Financing Administration predicts the figure will increase to more than $23.2 billion in 1993.
