Alan L. Himber, BSD president, said the suspension was a cost-cutting move and the UltraThermics staff has resigned or been laid off."While there have been some extremely preliminary discussions on the possible sale of UltraThermics, the most likely future scenario would involve the transfer of manufacturing responsibility for the UT-100 Ultrasound Hyperthermia System to the BSD operation in Salt Lake City," Himber said.
