Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate of Utah closed on 1,663 properties in Utah in the first nine months of 1989, a 29 percent increase over the 1,289 properties closed in the same period a year ago.
Scott Webber, president, said the biggest reason for the increase was his staff in the Salt Lake, Ogden, South Davis County and Park City offices. He also noted a slight improvement in the real estate market because of lower interest rates and a decrease in the state's out-migration.
